Covid-19 (Corona Virus Disease) Article - Determination of Large-Scale Social Limitations in The Province of DKI Jakarta in The Frame of Acceleration of Corona Virus Disease 2019 (Covid-19)

The increase and spread of Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases that occurred significantly and quickly in the DKI Jakarta Province region, which was also accompanied by local transmission events in DKI Jakarta Province so that it increasingly showed the spread of Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) had bring unrest for the people of Indonesia. That based on the discovery, a positive case of Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) in the province of DKI Jakarta is increasing, the Governor of DKI Jakarta Province finally made a request to the Minister of Health for the issuance of a stipulation concerning Large-Scale Social Limitations in the area of ??DKI Jakarta Province.

Based on the request by the Governor of the Province of DKI Jakarta, then the Minister of Health with his Team conducted an epidemiological study and consideration of readiness from the DKI Jakarta Province, both in terms of social, economic, and other aspects that could affect the welfare of the people in the DKI Jakarta Province. So based on the results of the assessment and consideration, the Minister of Health determined that it was necessary to implement a Large-Scale Social Limitations in the Province of DKI Jakarta in order to reduce the spread of Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) to be increasingly widespread in the DKI Jakarta Province.

Thus, the Minister of Health issued a Decree of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number HK.01.07/MENKES/239/2020 concerning the Determination of Large-Scale Social Limitations in DKI Jakarta Province in the framework of the Acceleration of Handling Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). The Minister of Health decides that the Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta must implement the Large-Scale Social Limitations during the longest incubation period and can be extended if there is still evidence of distribution. Decree of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number HK.01.07/MENKES/239/2020 concerning the Determination of Large-Scale Social Limitations in DKI Jakarta Province in the context of the Acceleration of Handling Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) came into force on the date of its adoption, 7 April 2020.
