The Meeting of Improvement of Ease of Doing Business in Indonesia (EoDB 2021)

On this day, 13th February 2020, Suria Nataadmadja & Associates attend the meeting of Improvement of Ease of Doing Business in Indonesia (EoDB 2021) at the Investment Coordinating Board  of the Republic of Indonesia (BKPM).

Based on Presidential Instruction No. 7 of 2019 concerning the Acceleration of Ease of Doing Business, instructed the Head of BKPM to coordinate various corrective measures needed for a good EoDB rating.

Some indicators in EoDB such as Starting a Business, Dealing with Construction Permits, Registering Property, Paying Taxes, Trading Across Borders, and Enforcing Contracts still need improvement because the rank is still above 50. However, the President targets the EoDB Indonesia in the 50 ranks.

In addition to the 2021 EoDB Index, there will be additional new indicators surveyed by the World Bank. Among them is Contracting with Governement to assess the project procurement process by the government.

Suria Nataadmadja & Associates was one of the respondents to fill out a questionnaire distributed by the World Bank.
